Participating units will line up beginning 11:20 a.m., the parade proper will begin at 12 o’clock midday. President Toomas Hendrik Ilves as well as Lieutenant General Riho Terras will have speeches.
Over 1100 members of the Defence Forces, the Defence League, and the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences will participate, along with 70 US military soldiers and officers as well as Belgian, Polish, Latvian and Lithuanian units.
If the weather allows it, there will also be a fly-over involving the Estonian Air Force as well as aircraft of the Police and Border Guard Board. Allied forces will participate, including Belgian, Polish and Spanish fighter jets, American Black Hawk helicopters, and an AWACS E-3 observation plane.
